Anyang Pavilion ¾È¾çÆĺô¸®¿Â

An architect, Álvaro Siza Vieira, representing Portugal designed this artwork with Carlos Castanheira and a Korean architect, Junsung Kim. It is situated quietly on a long lot adjacent to Art Park Road with the Mt. Gwanak in the background. The inside of the Pavilion stretching simply and placidly by using light gray exposed concrete is constructed as a single space with curved surfaces of various shell structures. By using natural light through the opening and minimum indirect lighting, it exposes its natural architectural expressions while accommodating the natural changes of the earth. The 4th APAP changed the name of this artwork, from Álvaro Siza Hall to [Anyang Pavilion], the name the artist originally suggested.
