Sharing Faces 우리는 같은 표정을 하고 있다.

[Sharing Faces] was inspired while traveling countries that have similar cultures but in strained relationships. Also, the inspiration for this artwork came from stories of conflict where people from same ethnicity, or brothers become enemies like the arbitration of conflicts of women of Savigny from the history of Roman Foundation, Aruzuna’s internal agony about having to fight his blood relatives in the Kurukshetra War in the Indian mythology, or Elder Joshima’s prophesy in Dostoevsky’s novel [The Brothers Karamazov]. If it is difficult to lock eyes and face each other, we have to spend more time to look at each other. After we look at each other enough, we will realize. We all share the same faces.
