Anyang Pavilion, an artwork from the First APAP, designed by the architect Álvaro Siza Vieira has been used as a public place functioning as an exhibition hallpublic restroom in the Anyang Art Park since its completion on 2006. Also, people have experiencedremembered the indoor space of Anyang Pavilion that has an open structure towards Byeokcheon Square as a public space everybody can go throughstay. The 4th APAP tried to utilize the Anyang Pavilion as a center for people to exploreute public art continuously by suggesting various public programsactivities that can be shared with the local residents. To accomplish this, the 4th APAP first changed the official name of the building from Álvaro Siza Hall to Anyang Pavilion as the architect originally suggested. In order to newly compose the indoor space of the Pavilion they held an invitation contest exhibit, [Spatialization of Programs]. [Spatialization of Programs] focuses not only on the projects the 4th APAP will continue to operate for a certain period of time, but also on providing an opportunityprocedure for the creators, researchers,citizens to considershare their thoughts about definite programs for various temporary activitiesuting methodstheir continuous effects. Three artist/team Honoré d'O, Norizzang with Yunju Hong,Hae-Won Shin, who were recommended by the artistic ectors of the First, 2nd,3rd APAP, participated in the Invitation Contest,the architect Hae-Won Shin was chosen as the finalist.
