IM Youngzoo has explored beliefs and their structures, and created audiovisual images, by interpreting and borrowing supernatural elements based on the similarities between science and superstition. Paradise has been portrayed differently in diverse ages and groups. In the testimony of those who have experienced paradise, it reflects real world desires. The artist captured the fact that many aspects found in Anyang’s modernization were similar to the process of persuading paradise, and reminded of the multiverse theory. Juxtaposing various landscapes found in Anyang, the artist threw essential questions about what Anyang / Paradise is.
