Han Sunkyung practices “Eating Artistic Activities” as a self-rehabilitating project for artists.
It focuses on the production and distribution of works of art and realizes the economic independence of artists through the process of the public consuming them and turning them into money. In this exhibition, the self-portrait “Artist’s Sunkyung-i Bread,” which was created in Anyang in 2010, will be introduced as a new recipe along with grapes that were once Anyang’s specialty. The writer visited the vineyard in Anyang to develop recipes and interviewed local residents involved in grape cultivation. He studied the history and history of the transition of the apricot grape and tried to make it a work that shows the meaning of the apricot grape that has been forgotten in urbanization. This process will be filmed and displayed at the cafe[Hamond] during the project period. Along with the exhibition, Hammond operated “Artist’s Sunkyung-i Bread with Anyang Wine” so that people can actually buy it. In addition, during the project, the artists will make and sell “Artist’s Sunkyung-i Bread” on two occasions, providing special experiences to visitors.
