A monument that celebrates the creation of Anyang Art Park. This memorial features the engraved slogan Our Anyang on stones, which is set on a mound of stones intentionally laid in an unstable manner. The typographic design of the slogan was d based on handwritings collected from the artist, art ector of the 1st APAP, city employees, local residents. The artist argues that a majority of Korea social issues stem from Koreans excessive emphasis on bloodline family, citing the fearhatred towards foreign workers still persist in our society despite the sharp increase in their number as an example. Inspired by the meaning behind the city name Anyang (means paradise), the artist hopes to deliver a message that although Anyang is still their paradise to foreign workers, it should become our paradise to them in near future. For the project, the artist collected used the stonesrocks produced during the Park construction.
