LINK, an artist group composed of five young artists, presents A Unit, an installation at Anyang Art Park. The work, which consists of small hemispheres of various colors attached to the stone walls of the Samseongcheon Stream, waits to be discovered in that space, resting on the subtle boundary between visibility and invisibility. Once a viewer perceives the work, its presence becomes more apparent, and the details of the small objects that are difficult to see with the naked eye stimulate the viewer’s curiosity and imagination. From a distance, the dots converge into two large circles that are in contact with each other. This image can be interpreted as a symbol of connection or infinity, or the syllables of the city name “Anyang (안양).” With its multiple layers and ambiguous meanings, the work is a reminder of all the elements that constitute the world and the universe, and their interconnectedness.
