The installation art Anyang 2019 of Georges Rousse is an extension of his land art installation works using different perspectives. While the artist gives birth to the space allocated to him with architectural design, the final touch comes from a photograph with a specific perspective. Anyang 2019 installed at the outdoor area along the river beside Anyang Museum.

Visitors will first see a regular black pattern on a red square cube from afar. However, as they come closer and look around it, they will be able to notice a Korean word for ‘life.’ And it is the message from the artist.

This artwork is an open structure as the sun shines and wind blows through the cracks between bars. A door is on one side for entry and exit.
