The 4th Anyang Public Art Project (APAP4) proposed to look back on the past APAPs and discuss again under the slogan of ‘Knowledge for all’, ‘A story for one’, ‘Listening through each other’. With “Public Story” as their theme, it untied the relationship between art and public with various stories, using the hearts and thoughts of people living in the same era as its stage. It diagnosed the past periods of 10 years during which the First through 3rd APAPs were held. It also conducted maintenance and conservation of artworks, reorganized (archive) records of the project on top of featuring variety of exhibitions and programs that pursued public, and it also reconstructed the Anyang Pavilion as a meeting place for public art and people. It reopened in 2013.
